Nakagusuku Castle Ruins

Nakagusuku Castle is on the list of 100 famous castles in Japan. It is also designated as a Japanese historical site as well as a UNESCO World Heritage site, under the title “Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Ryukyu Kingdom”.

Nakagusuku Castle ruins is telling the memory of the Ryukyu kingdom.

The natural rocks and the land surrounding the castle are in perfect harmony with the curving walls, this amazing feat allows us to appreciate the masonry skills of this ancient time.
